Furniture is a big part of what we carry every week. We move it for furniture and bed retailers, manufacturers and importers, and for private buyers who have bought a piece in Auckland, online or on TradeMe and need it brought home.
Furniture is bulky, easily marked and often unboxed, which is why it suffers in freight networks that sort everything through depots. With us it is loaded by hand, stays on one Secure Transport truck and is delivered door to door, so fewer hands touch it on the way.

Furniture Delivery to Your Customer's Door
If you sell furniture, we can deliver straight to your customers. Send us the order details and the delivery address, and we collect from your store, warehouse or factory and take it to your customer's home.
Delivered Inside the House
Our driver brings each piece inside. We don't assemble, unpack or take away packaging - that stays with you or your customer.
Two-Person Delivery in Auckland
For large or heavy pieces in Auckland, we can send a second person. It is an extra charge, shown on your quote.
One Driver and a Tail Lift Elsewhere
Outside Auckland we deliver with one driver and a tail lift. If an item needs two people to carry inside, tell us when you book so someone can help at the other end.
Every truck has a tail lift, so heavy pieces are lowered to the ground rather than lifted off the deck by hand. See tail lift deliveries for how home delivery works.
Packaging and Protection
Furniture travels best wrapped - in its original packaging, in cardboard, or in plastic wrap with the corners protected. If a piece isn't wrapped, we can blanket-wrap it on the truck. Either way it is loaded by hand, strapped in place and kept apart from other items so nothing rubs against a finished surface.

Furniture Transport Across the North Island
Furniture travels on all of our runs: daily across metro Auckland, and on the weekly runs to Northland, Waikato, the Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū and Wellington. Our weekly delivery schedule shows the day we are in each area.
Book by Friday afternoon for the following week's regional runs, or by Monday afternoon for Northland. You can also drop furniture off at our Albany depot.

Do you deliver furniture inside the house?
Yes. Our driver brings each piece inside the house. We don't assemble furniture, unpack it or take packaging away, so plan for that at the other end.
Can you deliver just one piece of furniture?
Yes. We take single items for private buyers as well as businesses - one sofa, one bed or one dining table is fine. It is priced on its size, weight and the two addresses, and we aim to reply to every quote request within 2 hours.
Do you do house moves or move pianos?
No. We carry furniture and household items, from one piece to a small load, but we don't do full household moves or move pianos.
Is second-hand furniture insured?
Second-hand items travel at owner's risk under our terms, so talk to us before booking if you are sending used furniture. For new furniture you can choose limited carrier's risk or Declared Value Cover when you request your quote - see our freight insurance guide.
